This volume is an introductory guide to the world of cup fungi and their allies. The ascomycete fungi form a vast assemblage of species ranging from the microscopic to fruitbodies many centimetres across. This volume presents some of our commonest, largest or most striking species that might be found on any exploratory foray.
However large or small they may be, cup fungi and their allies can be very beautiful in their shapes, structures and colours and this book aims to help in the identification of these often striking organisms.
