"Aha, Lišajník!" is a popular science book for all those interested in these overlooked organisms. You will learn everything essential about their meaning, shapes, reproduction, but also about the history of lichenology in Slovakia. The main part of the book consists of a detailed photographic atlas of 40 of the most species from Slovakia, supplemented with detailed descriptive descriptions. At the end of the book you will find a translation of the essay by British sociologist David Griffiths "Queer theory for lichens". This text beautifully describes the parallels between lichens and our perception of identity.
