The third volume of the Flora of the Sultanate of Oman is the final one dealing with dicotyledons. It covers 23 families and 376 taxa belonging to the Subclass Asteridae. For each family keys are provided to all genera and species. Species descriptions are accompanied with distribution maps and notes on distribution, habitat, flowering and fruiting times, conservation status, and uses where relevant. A CD-ROM includes photographs of most species included in this volume.
